L O S T

I'm a LOST nut! Waited and waited for this season of LOST to start and now it's almost over. The season finally is on Thursday night and i'm torn. Looking forward to a 2 hour episode and then again that's it until next season which may not start until FEBUARY!! AHHHH! Just thought i'd blog my little thoughts on the up coming event...

She's almost 1!!

I can't believe it, she's nearly a whole year old! She sure took her sweet time coming into the world. Nearly 2 days worth of labor, granted it wasn't ALL hard labor but it wasn't fun times either. As Neil reminds me...he was rubbing my back "the whole time"...poor guy...NOTTT! (Try pushing a baby out honey.) But she finally decided "ok, i'll come out and see what the world is like" and here she is...my little "Mi Mi", "Molly", "Helga", "May May", "Meggy", "Malone", "Meelosh", "Meagan Mulloly" and a few other nicknames I'm sure. She is my littlest princess. She was (as were Hope and Seth) a really good baby. Not alot of fussing. I've been really really lucky that I had three really great babies. Thank God! She is getting way too big now...busy busy busy allll the time. Getting into things, playing hard! Still has yet to take her first steps, I think she's gonna be my latest walker yet. She's so silly and funny. Laughs all the time. She makes this scrunched up silly cheesey smile that makes us all laugh. She's my big good girl and i'm glad she's mine!! Two more days and she'll be the BIG BIG ONE! Here's some random pics of her from her first year.

Happy almost Birthday!!
Isn't she lovely??

Red Sox Nation baby!!

Ok so I know this wont be the MOST popular post so far but....as most of you are fully aware...I am a Red Sox fan born and raised. So on occasion I will take time out to boast about my home team. This time it's a heart warming story about Jon Lester. In his rookie year he was diagnosed with cancer but beat it and is now cancer free. Last night he threw a NO HITTER at Fenway no less. Bravo to him!! And on a side note...the catcher Jason Varitek (our team captain) will go in the record books for catching FOUR no hitters! No other catcher has caught more no hitters! Way to go Jon Lester, and way to go Red Sox...keep up the great season!

Bad, Horrible, Rotten Mother

Ok so...I debated and debated on whether to post this or not but here goes. Poor Seth! Seth had been outside Saturday morning with out shoes on even though I always tell him not too because of all the goat heads we have all over. Well there he was running around and pretty soon he comes running around the front window yelling "OUCH OUCH OUCH"! He had gotten stung by a bee or hornet right on the botton of his foot. He's a pretty tough kid actually and he doesn't cry a whole lot and this was no different. But he was in pain from this bee sting. Once he settled down I took a look at his foot and the stinger was still in there. Of course it had to come out. Well I couldn't get it out, so Neil had to try. Seth makes this "face" when he's "upset" and it's hard to describe, so when he stared making it while Neil was trying to get this stinger out this bad bad horrible mother decided to...you guessed it...TAKE A PICTURE! Neil...in the middle of all his screaming...said give him something to bite down on, because he sure was screaming like we were amputating his whole leg off. Now, if I had been the good mother I should have been, I would have been comforting him instead of taking pictures of his agony. But...now I caught his pain on film forever!! He can relive it over and over and over again. My poor Seth...I do so love him! And I admit to being a horrible mother...
I will try and redeem us both in later posts...until then bad bad bad Momma!

Piggy madness!

Before and After

Meagan's got plenty of hair to play with but it's not so easy to get her to sit somewhat still to get anything done to it. So when I got these pigtails in I was pretty amazed. They were so cute! And when they came out - WOW that was some crazy hairdo...she looked like a wild child.

Hopey Lou

It was Hopey's turn for a spot on my blog. She is my oldest and most definitely the one I am the hardest on by far!! Poor girl. She's my big girl. And a huge help to me most days. She's such a good big sister! I am sure there will be all sorts of future Hope posts to come...I just thought I would stick this in because I was thinking about her while she's gone at school.

My Little Slugger

This year Seth moved up from the Tee-ball age to the next step up. He's in full uniform, all the way down to the cleats and socks. He started out a little clueless to say the least. But it's now the middle of the season and he's really made improvements. He's getting hits and really pays attention to where the plays are in the field! And he's really loving it. Games are fun for him and for us to watch! We're already looking forward to more years of baseball fun! He'll be playing for the Red Sox in no time! LOL

Poo Tinky Kitty

So I feel like due to Ali's latest post about her goldfish I need to share about my own recent loss in the family. Just a few weeks back after over 16 years I lost my cat. Most might and probably will say she was just a cat and that's true but to me she was more. She was my first thing I really took responsibility for after moving out here. I had her longer than I was married. I was not even 20 years old when I found her as a kitten. She was a sassy and sometimes bratty cat, except to me. She loved me and tolerated everyone else. She was a great comfort to me and I loved her completely and totally and without condition. She went by many names, Poo Tinky was one that really stuck though. She was beautiful and I miss her!

Sweet Sweet Molly Malone!

Just a few random pictures of her...just because!

Hey it's me!

I thought it was finally time to start my own. No matter what my husband thinks. (Hi honey) Katy told me to. Although I couldn't go through with what she told me to name it. Which was..."It's Neil's world and I just live in it" Ha ha! Even though that's pretty true these days. The real reason for the blog is to show off my kids! I'm always wanting to share things about the kids so I figure i'll try this - why not. So here goes...be patient, it's a work in progress.
