I'm BAAACCKKK!!

Ok so let me start by saying that I'm sorry it's been so long since i've posted anything new here. Last time I posted about being very excited about going to the scrapbook weekend which of course was very fun!! Got in a real groove this year and really felt like I got some good pages done. I love that because last year I never felt like I really got into a groove even tho I was so excited about it and glad to be there I just didn't get my mojo going. I think it's cause my buddy Ali wasn't there, I really do. She is my buddy who sits with me at the end of the table. My scrapping good friend...LOL!! The one who gets silly with me at 11 o'clock at night!

So then next came Hopey's birthday party. She turned 9 this year! Next year it's the big double digits for her. WOW!! She was just a baby last time I looked.

STOP growing up Hopey...what you don't know is that it's alot more fun to be little that all grown up!!

Almost one week from now...I'll be SCRAPBOOKING!!! YAY!!!

Just a little note to say I just can't wait to go scrapbooking! Can't wait to visit with a bunch of really nice people. I can't wait to have an actual adult conversation that doesn't get interupted with screaming or fighting or wanting or needing. I'm really hoping to get into a groove this year and pump out some pages. Here's a sampling of some pics I may just be scrapbooking.

Hopey the Cheerleader!!

Well any of you who know Hope know she's a girlie girl!! So I asked her when baseball came around "Hope do you wanna play baseball?" Nope is what she said. Hmmm I thought. She didn't want to play soccer either. We even tried some basketball over the summer. Nope not her thing either. So I eventually, just in the nick of time got her signed up for cheerleading for the grid kids here in Benton City. She LOVES it! It is her thing! They even have the whole uniform. As you can see...

That's her friend Jordan with her. Hope likes having her buddy with her! I've been trying to get some good pics of her and she gets mad at me. So I'll keep trying and post more when I can get them. Until then "Ra Ra Ra - Go Ki Be Bears"!!!

Back to School!!

Well the day finally arrived. The dreaded, the anticipated, the longed for big day!! The very first day of a new school year! All slates are wiped clean. A fresh start! I have to say I was so glad when school got out last year. I was really tired of the back and forth. I was looking forward to the long break. Then...I started looking forward to the this...the first day!! And now finally it's here. It's almost 2 o'clock now and i'll be leaving to go get them soon. Find out how their days went. (Hopefully well) Maybe talk to a teacher or two. I look forward to this year and what it might bring...we will see!

Hopey thought it would be fun to dress Meagan up the other day. Meagan liked it for about the first round. Then got fussy and mad. Hope still managed to get her dressed in some "pretty" outfits! As you can tell she gets harder and harder to take pictures of because she never sits still or I can't get her to look at the camera for me. She is very busy lately. She is getting all her teeth it seems all at once too. She's is not the only princess in the house but she is the tiniest!

Dog Pile!

One of Meagans favorite things to do is wait for either Hope or Seth to be lying on the floor and then BAM! ATTACK!! She squeels in delight every time she pounces. She got really really lucky yesterday when both Hope and Seth were on the floor. They decided it would be fun to dog pile with Meagan on top. She was in heaven and Seth couldn't stop giggling. All poor Hope could say was "Mom, take a picture quick!" So...here they are!

Having three kids is pretty interesting some days.

Baby update.

Here are some recent pictures of the kitties. It's hard to get good pictures of their faces because they are so little. But here's what I could get.

The little dark one is the one we've decided we'll keep. She's just so cute!!

Not sure what we'll name her yet. Any suggestions? They are all really healthy and happy little babies. The Momma kitty is VERY good with them. She never lets us take them too far from their box or she comes and gets them. I am enjoying them alot and so are the kids!

Ok ok so it's been a while since I blogged anything I know. I have some uploading to do but heres something to tide you guys over. Geesh!!

You gotta love Hopes crazy fashion sense!! But truely, there she is not minding a bit her little sisters tugging on her. Sliming her fingers all over her. She loves that baby sooo much. It shows all day long. She is so helpful with her. I don't know what I will do without her when school starts again.

Three Little Kittens!!

Preggo Momma kitty.

That picture was taken yesterday. Now here's today's picture.

Yep, woke up this morning and took a look at Momma kitty and thought "Uh Oh". She is such a young cat herself I wasn't sure how she's do having babies. So I was pretty timid looking around the house for the babies. I wasn't sure what I would find. But there underneath Seths bed were three little tiny already dry babies, well cleaned and healthy. Thank God!! Two little orange ones and one little blackish grey one. Momma is doing fine and the babies are doing just great. I was somewhat disappointed that I didn't get to see them be born. I was sorta wanting the kids to see it too. But we slept through it all. I never heard a thing and I was even up a bit with Meagan. Of course Mr. I Can Sleep Through Monster Trucks didn't hear a thing either even though they were right under his bed. Oh well. Of course we all kept our eyes on them most of the day. Especially me! We will keep one and hopefully find good homes for the other two. I will surely be posting more pictures of them as they grow. Who doesn't love baby kitties??

Crazy baby!

Meagan was cracking us up the other day. She was playing this game with Hopey on the floor. Hopey would sorta lightly toss this soft ball at her and it would bounce off her and she would make this crazy silly face. She would also get all tensed up and laugh and make this half grunt half squeel noise. I was laughing so hard that I could barely hold the camera still to get a good picture. Here's the best of what I could manage to get.

Ohhh Seth!!

He just said the funniest thing!! He was singing in front of his reflection in the TV and using his Light Sabor as a guitar (of course, what else would any little boy use..duh). He was singing (not sure the official name of it) "Put me in Coach", ya know the one. "Put me in coach, i'm ready to play...today". Except he sang..."Put me in a Coat"....ahahaha!!! It was so funny that I didn't even correct him on it....I just let him keep singing those words. He's got some other songs he sings the wrong words to, maybe some day i'll post them too. Just thought i'd share!

Sunburns, swimming and lots of smiles!

What can I say, a fun afternoon of friends and fun in the sun! The kids had a ball at Aunt Katys swimming and eating pizza. I hope there's many more afternoons like this to come!

Tim Russert

Ok so call my sappy or odd or whatever you gotta call me but I can't help but just say a little something about him. I'm a news junkie and I loved to watch him the best. He was super smart, well informed and great at getting the point across to dummies like me. He was unbaised and went with the facts rather than his own opinion. On an important issue Neil and I would often say "what's Tim Russert have to say about it?" I can't believe i'm actually going to say it but I have actually cried in recent days about his death and if any of you have watched any of the coverage of his death you'd know why. He was a great father, and a great son to a dad he adored so much he wrote a book about him. Some years back his son got a tattoo, his fathers initials (that also happen to be his grandfathers too) on his side...so he'd always have his father and his grandfather there by his side.

Sweet summer time!

YIPPEE YIPPEE YIPPEE!! School is out! Which means sweet freedom for us. At least that's what it means to me. It seemed like such a long year for us. I didn't take any end of the year pics of the last day but that picture of Seth was from his second to last day I think. They had a bug party, so that's a spider hat on his head. And that picture of Hope is from a week or so back with her Brownie uniform on.

Hopey Hopey Hopey!!

Hopey had her end of the year field trip last week. First we went to the Field of Dreams in Kennewick (why they picked there I don't know) then they all went (100+ kids) to Go Bowl in Pasco. They all had a great time. The weather was nice, not too hot - not too cold. We all had a great day! Hopey loved being with all her friends from the different classes. Her best friend Jamie is in a different class this year and so she only gets to see her at recess and so Hope thought it was great to hang out with her all day. Today is Hopes last full day of school and she was a happy kid this morning on the way to school!! She only has two half days left then it's hello summer vacation! Which I am even looking forward to...even though both big kids will be home all day. I can't wait to get to spend the days doing whatever we want, whenever we want.

more Baseball!

Here he is again. He's in a little bit of a hitting slump right now but he's still making big plays and improving all the time. He's really enjoying this season alot. I'm so glad too cause i'm the type of Mom who's like "hey I paid for this...your gonna play no matter what". This was a really good thing for him.

And of course my music is very fitting for this blog cause he is always playing the outfield and mainly center field!!

The Party!

For Meagans party we had a BBQ at the park. We had great weather up until right at the end and then it blew and blew and the sun went behind the clouds and it got yucky. But she had fun opening up her presents and having cake!

Oh and of course she had to have a princess crown!

Meagan really loved all her presents! But see her sister there beside her...well she couldn't just let Meagan try and open them on her own. She just HAD to "help" her. LOL

Then it was time for CAKE! Oh man she dug right in! And she even shared with most everyone!

She had a very happy birthday in all!!
